Todd Rice is an Owner, Managing Partner, and Broker/REALTOR® with Blue Ridge Realty & Investments, an independently owned firm with five offices across the High Country, including Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Linville, and West Jefferson. He is also a Managing Broker/Owner of Boone High Country Rentals and Blue Ridge Professional Property Services, overseeing full-service long-term property management for residential and commercial properties. Todd helps lead combined sales and management operations with more than 60 agents and 30 employees. Licensed since 2004, and with previous corporate work, Todd brings over 30 years of business experience to his clients.
Licensed in both North Carolina and Tennessee, Todd is an active leader with the High Country Association of REALTORS®, serving as President-Elect for 2026, NC REALTORS® Director, and previously an Association Director in 2025. His leadership roles include a current active role with the NC REALTORS® Property Management and Appraisal Divisions, and State Political Coordinator, in addition to previous service on the Board of Directors as Secretary, Professional Standards Committee, and the Executive Search Selection Committee. Todd holds the GRI, CRS, and Green REALTOR® designations. He also currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce, and the Truist Bank High Country Community Advisory Board, and has held prior roles with the Watauga County Board of Adjustments and Board of Directors for the Blue Ridge Conservancy. Todd is also active on the Board of Directors for Blowing Rock Brewing Company and a co-founder for the business going back to 2008.

His family’s long-standing involvement in landmark developments such as Yonahlossee Resort (since 1986) and Sunalei Preserve (since 2004) provides firsthand experience with planning, infrastructure, and design – knowledge that directly translates into helping clients, and making informed long-term decisions.
Todd’s background extends beyond residential real estate to include commercial and mixed-use developments, including restaurants and multi-family projects. This broad perspective enables him to anticipate challenges, evaluate risk, and structure transactions strategically. Also as a partner in a North Carolina-licensed insurance company, he further enhances the client experience by offering a more comprehensive view of asset protection and ownership planning.

Prior to real estate, Todd earned a degree in Hospitality Management and Business and spent a decade in senior sales leadership roles with Corporate Hyatt and Hilton Hotels, including Director of Sales at the New York Hilton Midtown, along with previous work in Chicago and other cities across the United States. He is a recipient of the Hilton President’s Award for Excellence, and is proud to be an Eagle Scout.
Todd lives in Valle Crucis with his wife, Tuesdae, their two children, and their animals. Outside of work, he enjoys supporting his children academically and in their athletic pursuits, including involvement with the local swim team, downhill ski racing, soccer, tennis, and cross country running. As a family, they enjoy outdoor activities, restoring homes, traveling, cooking, and actively supporting the local community.
