“When obstacles arise, you change your direction to reach your goal; you do not change your decision to get there.” This quote by Zig Ziglar is one I have often used as a guiding principle in creating my style, establishing my work ethic, and working for my clients.

Buying and selling a home or property is one of the biggest, most stressful decisions in life; having a trusted agent to help navigate this process makes all the difference. My military background, education (Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Government Contact Acquisitions), coupled with my strong sense of family and community has provided me with the best skillset, attention to detail, and ability to think outside the box to help you navigate clearly to your objective, to find your perfect home or sell the home you’re in. When you’re caught up in the thrill of new possibilities, I am your guiding hand through the arduous network of contracts, paperwork, and fine details that can be easily overlooked once the excitement is at hand and the process begins. Regardless if you have lived here your entire life or have only recently found this gem called the High Country, you will have a trusted agent in your corner for the entire process.

My journey began with a military, then civilian, career supporting our armed forces across the globe for over 25 years. In 2017, my wife and I fell in love with Ashe/Alleghany Counties and the Blue Ridge Mountains. In short order, we decided to move our family here and soon discovered we never wanted to leave. My wife and I have 3 kids, 3 cats, and a dog. We love taking full advantage of everything a small town and the mountains have to offer, including hiking and exploring, as well as supporting local whenever we can. We are very fortunate to be able to homeschool our children and provide them with, not only book smarts, but hands-on education through travel and exploration.
