| Our area is collectively known as the “High Country.” We are located in the northwestern corner of North Carolina in the heart of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. The High Country is made up of the towns of Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis, and other small communities throughout the North Carolina counties of Watauga, Avery and Ashe and Johnson County in eastern Tennessee. Each community is unique unto itself offering its own personality and flare. Take the time to explore all of what the High Country has to offer.
