Instead, take an immediate left to onto Shulls Mill Road. Continue on Shulls Mill Road, going under a stone Blue Ridge Parkway bridge, for 2.75 miles. Shortly after passing Yonahlossee Resort and Club, turn right onto Poplar Grove Road. Follow Poplar Grove Road for approximately 1.5 miles, and turn right on Russ Cornett Road. Continue on Russ Cornett to the entrance to Boulder Creek on the left.
From Boone, travel south on Highway 105. Turn left onto Poplar Grove Road (one will see The Tomato Shack, a produce stand on the corner). Follow Poplar Grove Road for approximately 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Russ Cornett Road. Follow Russ Cornett to the entrance to Boulder Creek
